Alphabet Letters: Word Search

These word search pages are designed to accompany the vocabulary presented in the 26 alphabet letter worksheets. Four new vocabulary words are presented with each letter, meaning these word searches contain a set of 104 vocabulary words. They have been illustrated to assist the ESL learning with comprehension.

For the purposes of differentiation I’ve made a rather large collection of word searches. I would never suggest that a teacher use them all! Kids need and want variety. The intention here is to provide teachers with options so they can select what is appropriate for their students on an individual level.

I’ve made two types of word searches. The first word search only contains words from letters that have been recently taught. The second is cumulative, so as the kids progress through the alphabet they are presented with a word search that includes older vocabulary words. Each word search contains 12 vocabulary words.
