Weather: Handwriting Worksheets

Word Set: cloudy, cold, hot, rainy, snowy, stormy, sunny, windy

In the early stages of sentence writing I have found success with posting form sentences around the room to accompany the word wall.  In this case the form could be, “It is _______.”  The ESL students can then put vocabulary words into the slot.  For example: “It is hot”, “It is cloudy”, and “It is rainy.”   A more complicated form could be, “I like _____ days.” or “I don’t like _____ days.”
